Puthenmaliga palace (Kuthiramaliga Palace) situated in the Valiyakottaram compound was also constructed by H.H.Maharaja Swathi Thirunal in 1846AD. Another museum is known as the Puthenmaliga palace museum which attracts a lot of national and international tourists functions here.
